Abernathy is a hip, walkable neighborhood in Southeast Portland. Homes for sale in Abernathy are usually early 20th century Bungalows, Victorians, Craftsmans and Foursquares. Some of these have been updated and some haven’t. The neighborhood is a little rougher around the edges than say Hawthorne or Irvington but there are great homes none the less. Real estate in Abernathy can be had at a discount when compared to the most desirable East side neighborhoods. The amenities in the area are great with New Seasons on Division, the Clinton Theater on the corner of Clinton and 26th and a handful of coffee houses, restaurants, bars and shops scattered along Divisions and Clinton.
